In this place the writer Luis de Leon Diaz (Luis de Lion) was forcefully disappeared by members of military intelligence of the army of Guatemala, May 15 1984. According to the military newspaper, published in 1999, Luis de Lion was executed extarjudicialmently on June 5th of that same year.
